Requirement for IC/Passport – Document Verification
If we require a picture of an ID document, such as a Malaysian IC or a passport for Non-Malaysians, to aid in verifying your identity, it will be scanned by our identity verification service provider and stored securely and confidentially, in accordance with our Privacy Notice.
When uploading a picture of your ID:
- Submit a photograph of your document; scanned copies will not be accepted.
- Ensure that your document is valid, unexpired, and free from hole punches or alterations.
- Ensure adequate lighting without glare; natural sunlight is preferable.
- Capture the entire document without cutting off any corners or edges.
- Ensure the ID document is fully visible and in focus.
- Ensure that your picture does not contain any logos or watermarks.
- Do not obscure or cover any information on the ID.
- The document should be submitted as a .jpg, .png, or .gif file and must not exceed 10MB in size.
